Why We Chose This
Simple, effective, and dishwasher safe. This ball engages foraging instincts by requiring cats to bat and roll it to release food. AAFP guidelines recommend feeding methods that require cats to actively acquire food. One of our cat tester prefers rolling, while the another bats the ball around. This is a good starter food puzzle toy with adjustable openings that let you calibrate difficulty as your cat learns and adapt to different food and treat sizes. At 2/3 cup capacity, it can work as a daily dry food feeder.
