Aggression
Cats and kittens that bite, swat, and attack are often driven by predatory instinct or overstimulation ("play aggression"). Toys redirect energy through structured play. Treats positively reinforce appropriate play targets.
Play aggression is one of many types of cat aggression. If behavior seems fear-driven instead, see Stress and Anxiety.
