Indigo-dyed cotton denim target made of OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified denim sourced specifically for For Paws Collective. Hand-assembled in Monroe, WA.

Why We Chose This

Wand toys engage the predatory sequence (stalk, chase, pounce) and provide interactive play and exercise. Our cats loved the bug-like scuttling motion of the denim target, and the long line kept them chasing.

This wand is a recreation of the Galkie Kitty Tease from the late 1980s, which won Cat Fancy's Hall of Fame. The original manufacturer retired, but Kitty Kaster revived the same design in 2020. The design doesn't use metal hooks, crimps, or wire that could injure a cat's mouth or paws. FPC's version uses OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified denim, tested to be free of azo dyes, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and phthalates.

Care & Safety
For supervised play only. Store after each session. Line and target are hand-tied; inspect periodically and replace if worn. Pull apart to separate the wand (do not twist).
