Why We Chose This
Scratching serves three functions: claw conditioning, territorial marking, and stretching. Sisal is a commonly preferred scratching surface, particularly for cats under 9yrs. Cats also prefer surfaces that don't shift or slide when they scratch and this wall-mounted post is more stable than freestanding options.

This pole offers an all-in-one scratching post, climbing route, and elevated perch (with the optional Leaf Shelves) with no floor footprint. A freestanding cat tree does similar things but takes up floor space and can't expand. Catastrophic Creations designs for modular growth, so this pole can serve as a standalone product or starting point for a broader wall system. Single-stud installation makes it practical for any wall layout.
