Why We Chose This
Catnip's active compound, nepetalactone, triggers a response in approximately two-thirds of cats (the sensitivity is genetic). Silver vine activates a different olfactory pathway, through actinidine and related compounds, and around 80% of all cats respond to silver vine. For cats immune to catnip, 75% of those respond to silver vine. This blend addresses both populations in a single product and is estimated to elicit a response in >90% of cats.
